18 Nov 2016 - Exploring Suseong Dong Valley 수성동 계곡

After breakfast, I walked over to Gyeongbokgung Station, exit 3 for bus, No. 9 to Suseong Dong Valley. You can either take the bus or walk there from Gyeongbokgung Station. For me, I took the bus there and walked back to the station for my return trip.

You need not know about this route becos you will get off at the last stop. I like "last stop" cos I don't need to keep a look ut for the stop to alight and usually, it will be the same stop to take the bus for the return trip.

This is the last stop. Get off here.
I couldn't remember how long the bus ride took.
Not very long.  Was it 10mins??
The last stop.
You can see the valley after you alight from the bus.

This is a very nice place to check out.  Not a big place and easy to access.
Took this picture from the valley.
You can see the bus stop from here.
For my return trip, I walked down the slope and explored the neighbourhood.
You will pass by Tongin Market 통인시장 on your way back to the station.

18 Nov 2016 - My new found love, 들깨칼국수

Made my way to Gyeongbokgung Station, exit 2 for breakfast.

I came here for its 들깨칼국수 Perilla noodles (4th item on the menu). 6500won.
Came here becos I saw this place was known for its perilla noodles among the locals.

Omgg....this was really GOOD!!!
I love Perilla leaves!
The smell of the Perilla leaves was not strong but yet addictive to make me finished all the soup.
The more I drink the soup, the more I love it!!
Another favorite Korean food added to my list ^^
About 3 mins walk from Gyeongbokgung Station, exit 2.
Very easy to come here and I will be back!!
